This Vihuela was made by Martin Zalapa from Guadalajara, Jalisco. It is made with a beautifully grained Palo Escrito wood for the back and sides, a Tacote wood top, and a traditional Sun rosette inlaid with abalone. This vihuela has a high action on the strings for a higher tension feel on the strum.
