These bordones or bass set, were designed for the Jalisco harp, more importantly, harps made by Don Roberto Morales. Don Roberto Morales was not satisfied with the bordones that were available to him at the time because they were too hard and put a lot of tension on his harps neck. So he requested a specific gauge that ultimately decreased the tension and prolonged the life of his harps. The end result, bordones by Cuerdas Selmer made with a nylon core and nylon wrapping. 100% made in Mexico.
