This Bandola Llanera was made by our friend and luthier Edgar Ramírez of Arpas El Padrote in Bogotá, Colombia. The Bandola is one of many varieties of small pear-shape chordophones found in Venezuela and Colombia that serve as a lead, melodic instrument. This Bandola is made with granadillo for the back and sides. It features a spruce top with a granadillo fretboard. Comes with a semi-rigid carrying case.
